Job descriptionQualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – freshly qualified or up to 1 year of post-qualification experience. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and standards (knowledge of US GAAP preferred). Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite . Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Job Timings : 10 AM - 7 PM
Salary : Upto 6 LPA
Work Mode : Work From Office
About the Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fresher Chartered Accountant to join our US Accounting team . The role involves supporting accounting cleanup, month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and reporting processes for US-based clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified CA looking to build a strong foundation in US GAAP , QuickBooks Online (QBO) , and international accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in accounting cleanup by reviewing and correcting historical data, classifications, and reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes — including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and intercompany transactions .
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Collaborate with senior accountants and US client teams to address accounting discrepancies.
- Assist in generating financial reports and management dashboards.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting workflows.
