Job Description
Lead and manage water resources engineering projects, including water supply, distribution, treatment, and wastewater systems.
- Develop and implement engineering designs and models for water projects, utilizing advanced software tools.
- Conduct feasibility studies, assessments, and analyses of water systems to determine optimal solutions.
- Ensure projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and governmental agencies to achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in water engineering.
Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of water resources engineering principles and practices.Strong project management and leadership skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in using engineering software tools and modeling programs such as AutoCAD, EPANET, HEC-RAS, or similar.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes related to water projects.Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master's degree preferred.Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in water resources engineering or related field.Show more
