Job descriptionExtensive knowledge of water resources engineering principles and practices. Strong project management and leadership skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using engineering software tools and modeling programs such as AutoCAD, EPANET, HEC-RAS, or similar. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes related to water projects. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master's degree preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in water resources engineering or related field.
Job Description
Lead and manage water resources engineering projects, including water supply, distribution, treatment, and wastewater systems.
- Develop and implement engineering designs and models for water projects, utilizing advanced software tools.
- Conduct feasibility studies, assessments, and analyses of water systems to determine optimal solutions.
- Ensure projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and governmental agencies to achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in water engineering.
