Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job descriptionKnowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber / SpecFlow). CI / CD exposure with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps . Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology and defect tracking tools ( JIRA, Azure DevOps ). Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for Web, API, and UI testing. Collaborate with development teams to test Java / Spring Boot microservices deployed on AWS / Azure Kubernetes . Write and execute complex SQL queries for backend validation. Perform API testing and automation using Postman and integration with CI / CD pipelines. Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance testing for enterprise-grade applications. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement in QA practices.
Must Have Skills :
- Strong programming experience in Java (mandatory) with exposure to TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python .
- Expertise in Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver and frameworks like TestNG / JUnit .
- Proficiency in API Testing using Postman and automation with REST / JSON APIs.
- Solid experience in SQL (queries, stored procedures) for database testing.
- Hands-on experience in UI Automation and end-to-end testing.
- Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices-based applications .
- Experience in Kubernetes , containerized applications, and orchestration.
- Cloud deployment / hosting experience on AWS and Azure .
