Junior Automation Engineer (AI Workflows / N8N / APIs)

Job description1+ years of experience in automation, scripting, or integration work (academic or freelance acceptable) Solid understanding of n8n , APIs , webhooks , OpenAI models , and JSON data mapping Familiarity with integrating tools like HubSpot, Zoho, Google Sheets, Gmail, Slack, Twilio , etc. Analytical mindset, able to map messy business processes into logical, automated systems Excellent English communication and documentation skills Self-driven and organized, able to own small projects end-to-end Experience in startups, lean teams, or automation agencies Ability to approach problems using first principles or systems thinking Eye for UX — understanding how automations feel from the user’s perspective Learn how real AI automations are deployed inside growing businesses Work on high-impact client systems with fast feedback loops Gain mentorship from senior automation engineers Be part of a fast-moving startup with a clear growth path to Automation Lead / AI Solutions Architect

What You’ll Do
You’ll work directly with the Founder and Lead Developer to build, test, and maintain automation systems for real client projects.
Every week, you’ll :
- Build and test workflow automations inside n8n
- Connect and orchestrate APIs between CRMs (HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) and other tools
- Debug, document, and maintain automation flows
- Run QA tests and client UAT before delivery
- Support ongoing maintenance and optimization after go-live
- Translate business requirements into clean, modular automation logic
