Roles and responsibilities :
- Daily Accounting Operations : Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions in Zoho Books, including preparation of account entries, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Accounts Payable Management : Verify and reconcile vendor invoices with purchase orders and approvals.
- Accounts Receivable Management : Generate client invoices, monitor outstanding payments, and follow up for timely collections.
- Bank and Ledger Reconciliation : Perform monthly bank reconciliations, review ledger balances, and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting Assistance : Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Taxation and Compliance Support : Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings, ensuring adherence to company policies and government regulations in India and overseas offices.
- Audit Coordination : Prepare and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits, and coordinate with auditors for timely completion.
- Coordination with CA and Overseas Accountants : Follow up and work closely with the company’s Chartered Accountants, statutory auditors, and international accounting partners to ensure smooth communication, compliance, and alignment of financial records.
- Documentation and Record Maintenance : Maintain systematic filing of invoices, receipts, and financial documents while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Interdepartmental Coordination : Collaborate with internal teams for invoice approvals, budget clarifications, and expense tracking to support effective financial operations.
Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred).1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance operations.Proficiency in Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / MS Excel would be a perk.Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting standards.Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.Good communication and organizational skills.
