About the Opportunity :

  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vertical Head - Government Sales to take a leadership role in driving Cyfuture's growth within the Government Enterprise vertical, pan-India.
  • This is a critical, high-impact position responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and spearheading our engagement with State Governments and all Government-aided enterprises and institutions to promote and secure adoption of Cyfuture's comprehensive portfolio of IT products, solutions, and managed services.
  • You will be instrumental in defining and executing the strategy to position Cyfuture as a top-tier IT partner in the public sector.
  • Key Responsibilities :

    As the Vertical Head - Government Sales, your primary responsibilities will include :

    Strategic Sales Leadership & Target Achievement :

  • Own the entire sales revenue, growth in profit, and market expansion targets for the Government Enterprise sales vertical.
  • Develop and execute aggressive, yet sustainable, sales strategies and plans to ensure 100% presence and engagement across all emerging business opportunities within the identified government and public sector verticals.
  • Ensure Cyfuture achieves a competitive and winning position in key tenders, RFPs, and strategic government initiatives.
  • Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement :

  • Competitively engage with all crucial business touchpoints, including powerful strategic Enterprise departments, agencies, and large business aggregators at the state and central levels.
  • Apply a blend of strategic go-to-market models and tactical approaches aimed at growing profitable Enterprise engagements and expanding the revenue base.
  • Solution Mapping & Client Management :

  • Interact closely with all functional and technical heads within client organizations to deeply understand their business processes, complexities, and pain points.
  • Effectively map and pitch appropriate, customized IT solutions (comprising Software, Hardware, Networking, Security, Cloud, Data Center, and SI services) that address client needs and align with Cyfuture's offerings.
  • Team Leadership & Enablement :

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the pan-India sales team to achieve individual and vertical targets.
  • What Will Contribute to Your Success (Required Qualifications) :

  • Education : Must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, IT, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Preference will be given to candidates from a premiere Extensive and demonstrable relevant experience in IT Sales within the Enterprise Vertical, specifically dealing in comprehensive IT SOLUTIONS that include Software, Hardware, Networking, Security, Cloud, and Data Center / System Integration (SI) services.
  • A significant portion of this experience must be in Government / Public Sector Sales.
  • Technical Acumen :

  • Must have a strong technical understanding of core IT concepts, including Enterprise IT products, Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, VMWare), Data Center operations, System Integration (SI), Web Hosting, cloud migrations, and deployment processes.
  • Network & Alliances :

  • Must be well-connected and have established relationships with key personnel within major OEMs in the Server, Storage, Networking, Security, and Cloud domains.
  • Skills :

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential for engaging with high-level government decision-makers.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to navigate complex tender processes and client requirements.
