Join our team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work directly with Mockingjay, our proprietary no-code / low-code automation testing platform. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you'll leverage Mockingjay's powerful no-code capabilities while implementing custom JavaScript logic when needed, ensuring our clients receive robust, reliable testing solutions across web, mobile, API, and performance testing domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build comprehensive automated test suites using the Mockingjay no-code platform
- Create end-to-end test scenarios for web applications, mobile apps, APIs, and performance testing
- Implement custom JavaScript logic within the platform for complex test scenarios and validations
- Collaborate with development teams and clients to understand testing requirements and acceptance criteria
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks using Mockingjay's platform capabilities
- Perform test case reviews, debugging, and optimization of automated test flows
- Work with LLM-powered test generation features to accelerate test creation
- Participate in testing strategy discussions and contribute to QA best practices
- Provide feedback to the platform development team for feature improvements and bug fixes
- Create and maintain test documentation and reporting dashboards
Required Technical Skills
Testing Fundamentals : Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practicesJavaScript Proficiency : Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals for implementing custom test logic and validationsWeb Technologies : Knowledge of HTML, CSS, DOM structure, and web application behaviorAPI Testing : Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and API testing conceptsCSS Selectors & XPath : Proficiency in element identification strategies for web automationTest Design : Ability to create comprehensive test cases, test data, and test scenariosDebugging Skills : Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities for identifying test failuresCommunication : Excellent communication skills for collaborating with development teams and stakeholdersAttention to Detail : Meticulous approach to quality assurance and test coveragePreferred Qualifications (Nice to have)
