Senior Backend Engineer

Job Description : About the Role

We're looking for a skilled software engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our high-performance backend systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and building scalable APIs using Golang.

Responsibilities :

• Design and maintain scalable backend services APIs using Golang

Contribute to the evolution of our service-oriented / microservices backend

Write clean testable efficient code with a strong emphasis on quality

Collaborate with product managers frontend engineers and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact features

Improve performance monitoring observability of backend services

Participate in design discussions code reviews technical planning

Troubleshoot resolve production issues with a focus on reliability root-cause analysis

Qualifications :

Strong proficiency in Golang required Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience

Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals – algorithms data structures system design

Proven experience building scaling distributed systems APIs backend platforms in a production environment

Familiarity with DevOps practices monitoring tools cloud infrastructure AWS GCP Docker Kubernetes bonus

Comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment with a collaborative mindset

Strong problem-solving skills passion for building high-quality software
