Role Overview
The Head of Sales Operations is a key leader responsible for improving the effectiveness, efficiency, and predictability of our revenue organization. This role supports the organization by optimizing sales processes, managing sales tools including CRM, improving forecasting, and enabling sales teams to perform at their best.
You will work closely with Client partners, Marketing, Customer Success, Delivery, and Finance to build scalable operations that support the company’s next stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Planning & Forecasting
- Key participant in annual sales planning and target setting.
- Run the sales forecasting process and provide visibility into pipeline health and revenue outlook.
- Process & Operations
- Improve and standardize sales processes from lead to close to handoff.
- Ensure strong governance around pipeline, approvals, and deal structures.
- Incorporate AI to sharpen sales funnel and conversion
- CRM & Sales Tools
- Own the CRM (Salesforce) and other key sales tools & technologies.
- Drive data accuracy, automation, and system adoption across the sales organization.
- Reporting & Insights
- Deliver dashboards and insights on pipeline, performance, and SaaS / Services KPIs.
- Provide recommendations to improve sales productivity and conversion.
- Incorporate AI to generate predictive analytics and give NBA to sales people to increase sales effectiveness
- Sales Enablement
- Oversee onboarding, training, and sales readiness programs.
- Maintain sales playbooks, tools, and resources to support field teams.
- Sales Scorecard
- Manage the design and administration of sales scorecards.
- Ensure alignment with company goals and budget.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in Sales Operations / Revenue Operations / Commercial Excellence, ideally in B2B SaaS or IT services.Expertise in enterprise B2B selling to life sciences; proven record improving forecast accuracy, velocity, and win rates at scale.Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce), sales processes, pipeline analytics, incentive design, and deal governance.Strong operator and coach – builds high‑performing teams, influences senior stakeholders, and drives cross‑functional execution.Comfort with AI and analytics – hands-on with dashboards, data quality, and workflow automation.What Success Looks Like
