We’re seeking a proactive, people-focused Manager Corporate Affairs to join our Strategy & Corporate Affairs team. What you’ll do :
Lead and support reputation management strategies, protecting and promoting the Fund’s standing in the market.
Work with stakeholders at all levels, educating them on the impacts, timing, and sequencing of projects and decisions—sometimes speaking up, sometimes escalating, and sometimes knowing when to listen.
Develop and implement communications strategies and plans for core Fund projects, crisis situations, and reputation issues.
Provide expert advice and counsel to senior leaders and project teams, ensuring the Fund’s narrative is clear, consistent, and compelling.
Maintain and enhance the Fund’s reputation management frameworks, playbooks, and response plans.
Find and share stories—celebrating the good, fixing the bad before it happens, and always keeping members’ interests at the centre.
Motivate and inspire your team, fostering a culture of service, excellence, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring :
Significant, demonstrable experience in a similar in-house or consultancy role, with a strong track record in reputation management and project communications.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues for diverse audiences.
Proven experience in change management communications, stakeholder engagement, and crisis response.
The confidence to engage with everyone from contact centre operatives to the Chief Executive, and the judgement to know when to speak, escalate, or listen.
A naturally curious, proactive approach—always seeking information, identifying risks, and finding opportunities to add value.
Tertiary qualifications in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related discipline.
(Desirable) Knowledge of the Australian superannuation system, finance industry, and an understanding of Australian politics and policy trends.
Why join us?
This is a highly rewarding role where no two days will be the same. You will be at the heart of the Fund’s reputation and communications, with exposure to every part of the organisation.
Working with a diverse range of stakeholders and making a real impact on how the Fund is perceived and how it operates. You will get the opportunity to lead and develop a small team, with opportunities for innovation and professional growth.
Help us to shape the future of superannuation for millions of Australians.
