We are looking for a talented and highly motivated SAR Signal Processing Research Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in developing and implementing cutting-edge algorithms for processing and analyzing Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data. This role covers the entire research lifecycle, from theoretical concept development to practical algorithm implementation and testing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research on advanced signal processing techniques for SAR data, including :
Image formation algorithms
New modes of radar operation
Super-resolution techniques
Develop, implement, and test new SAR / radar signal processing algorithms in high-performance computing environments (Python, MATLAB).
Analyze and interpret SAR processing algorithm results and draw meaningful conclusions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAR / radar signal processing research and present findings at conferences and workshops.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, scientists, and researchers on SAR-related projects.
Research quality improvement methods for SAR data products.
Document research activities and findings clearly and comprehensively.
Requirements
PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related field with strong focus on signal processing.
Proven experience in developing and implementing radar signal processing algorithms.
Deep knowledge of mathematical tools such as Fourier transform, Hilbert transform, statistical signal processing, Bessel functions, Taylor series, Hough transform, etc.
Knowledge of SAR imaging principles and techniques is a plus.
Strong understanding of radar theory and signal processing concepts.
Experience with high-performance computing languages and frameworks (Python, MATLAB).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
