Job Description - Cybersecurity Consultant.

Location : Remote (India) / Hybrid (Office presence as needed).

Experience : 6 - 12 years.

Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to support enterprise-wide security initiatives. The consultant will work with the client's cybersecurity team to strengthen defenses, enhance detection & response capabilities, and ensure compliance with global standards.

Responsibilities :

• Support cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Work with Proximus Ada (AI & Cybersecurity COE) initiatives to improve resilience.
• Assist with security assessments, audits, and regulatory compliance (i.e., NIS2, GDPR).
• Configure and manage tools for DDoS protection, Mobile Threat Defense, and Firewall-as-a-Service.
• Participate in Managed Extended Detection & Response (MxDR) operations.
• Collaborate with CSIRT (Cyber Security Incident Response Team) on phishing, simulation exercises, and awareness campaigns.
• Provide technical consulting for security architecture design and risk mitigation strategies.
• Document security incidents, playbooks, and remediation steps.
