About the Role

We are seeking an Investment Analyst focused on sourcing and evaluating private companies, especially those with shares in demat form or approaching listing readiness. The role combines deal origination, relationship building, and early diligence to strengthen our investment pipeline. You will work closely with senior team members to identify promising businesses across sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

Company Sourcing – Identify private companies (including those admitted to NSDL / CDSL in demat form) through databases, industry research, and networks.

Market Mapping – Build sector landscapes to spot high-potential businesses across growth and late-stage segments.

Founder Outreach – Engage with promoters, founders, and advisors to explore potential investment opportunities.

Preliminary Assessment – Analyze financials, governance, and compliance (including demat / shareholding structures) of shortlisted companies.

Investment Notes – Prepare screening reports, teasers, and pipeline dashboards for the investment committee.

Relationship Development – Build connections with bankers, intermediaries, and ecosystem players to generate proprietary deal flow.

Tracking Trends – Monitor SEBI / NSDL / CDSL updates on demat requirements, private company admissions, and pipeline for potential listings.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field (MBA / CFA preferred).

1–3 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance.

Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation, and regulatory frameworks (SEBI, NSDL / CDSL).

Excellent communication and networking skills to engage founders and stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, with high attention to detail and initiative in sourcing opportunities.
