The Senior HR Specialist assists in the creation, coordination and implementation of various HR programs and initiatives. You will function as a resource to the Senior HR Manager, primarily supporting our employees and leaders in a wide variety of areas, such as performance management, employee development, rewards, and more. This position requires a combination of problem solving, communication, collaboration and an understanding of HR principles and practices. Team Overview :
The Human Resources team is responsible for aligning HR strategies and programs with business objectives to support the achievement of organizational goals. We collaborate with various teams to provide HR guidance, implement HR initiatives, and foster a positive work environment. The Senior HR Specialist assists the Senior HR Manager in supporting leaders and employees, offering expertise in areas such as talent management, employee engagement, development, rewards, performance management, organizational development & change management.
Key Responsibilities :
Supports the Senior HR Manager by driving HR initiatives and operating as a partner focusing on proactive, creative solutions.
Consults with leaders and teams to support processes, programs and projects. Performs work, monitors progress, manages risk, and escalates issues. Develops communication and sustainment plans for the work.
Delivers programs around performance management, talent management and rewards.
Provides guidance and coaching to mid-level managers on people management best practices and performance improvement conversations.
Possesses advanced knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts for the HR team supported.
Builds effective relationships with HR partners outside of immediate team and collaborates cross-functionally with a moderate level of ambiguity to support processes, programs and projects.
Partners with Senior HR Manager and hub office leadership to foster a thriving culture of growth, learning and employee engagement.
Analyzes employee engagement feedback, exit interview feedback and turnover data to inform practices.
Exercises discretion and function independently as an expert within assigned areas with limited guidance from manager.
Requirements :
5+ years of Human Resources experience (HRBP, Employee Relations) in large organizations working with a global workforce including :
2+ years of experience working with US based companies / Global Capability Centers
Strong business knowledge, comprehensive understanding of HR, and specific experience within technology / business sector
Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
