Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Apigee Lead to drive the design, implementation, and evolution of our API Management Platform using Google Apigee. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of API strategy, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies, with proven expertise in delivering scalable and secure API solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of API Management solutions using Google Apigee Edge / X.
• Define API strategy, governance, and best practices for internal and external APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design scalable API solutions.
• Develop API proxies, shared flows, policies, and integrations using Apigee Edge.
• Integrate Apigee with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP, IAM, and Analytics tools.
• Establish and enforce security policies including rate limiting, quotas, API key validation, JWT, and mutual TLS.
• Design CI / CD pipelines and automation for API lifecycle management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and security issues in the API ecosystem.
• Mentor developers and guide teams on best practices in API management and integration.
