Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to expand our market presence in Australia and New Zealand. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in lead generation, and client relationship management, with experience in the  [industry eg, technology, finance service]  . This role requires market research, strategic sales planning, and deal closure to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the AU / NZ region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and referrals.
  • Present and pitch products / services to potential clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring profitable business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and customer success) to enhance sales efforts.
  • Track and report sales metrics, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Proven success in lead generation, and closing high-value deals.
  • Strong knowledge of the AU / NZ market, industry trends, and customer behaviors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc).
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in fintech, professional services, or technology sales.
  • Existing network of business contacts in AU / NZ.
  • Knowledge of contract negotiations and business law in Australia New Zealand.
