Job Description Summary
The Project Fulfillment Leader (PFL) is responsible for managing projects for a seamless execution in a consistent, timely, and high-quality manner. This consists of managing project kick-off meetings and project communications, validation of commitment dates, coordination with Engineering, Sourcing and Logistics, as well as the technical coordination between teams during project start-up and execution.
In addition to the responsibilities as a PFL, this roles is responsible for managing the PBOM Lean Line, the ITO PBOM, capacity planning and training of EL.
The PFL of the Project Launch Engineering Team is a part of the Solutioning and Execution CoE within the Proposal and Project Engineering (PPE) organization.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Reviews project requirements during ITO through ITO PBOM, performs ITO PBOM, i.e. identifies project, generates PC, generates BOM review, and analyses review BOM
- Is familiar with the concept of Lean Line Standardwork and has experience as Line Leader; knows the Line Line functionalities in Smarsheet and can maintaine a LL template
- Coordinates the Contractors in their role as EL, does the capacity planning of EL in agreement with the TL, and provides trainings to the EL
- Participates and challenges ITO prior to transfer to OTR (ERRM R3 step)
- Facilitates ITO / OTR transfer
- Challenges team managers for project team assignation
- Participates to engineering schedule creation
- Conducts project deliverable oversight
- Helps to populate the project accessories' bill of materials
- Manages project execution for accessories which includes ensuring Combined Cycle Plant Engineering meets all requirements and timelines of the project, facilitates changes, ensures accessories work is completed within hours allocated by Project Engineering
- Removes impediments for project team to execute smoothly
- Manages and mitigates risks related to accessories by working with project team and CTHs
- Supports Engineers to obtain inputs to meet customer need / contract required dates for drawings
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other equivalent degree in technologySignificant relevant technical experienceHas lead Lean Lines, including handling and expediting in SmartsheetStrong knowledge of GEV used tools such as GTCC, Salesforce, Smartsheet, etc.Has performed PBOM reviews for GT, ST and GenoStrong expertise in GT, ST, Gen accessory, Plant System or Plant equipmentEffective Communication and organizational skillsAbility to work successfully in a matrix environment while managing multiple projects and prioritiesStrong verbal, written and presentation skills in EnglishDemonstrated leadership, project management and influencing skillsActively seek and embrace changeCustomer focused and Global mindsetAbility to work in teams and achieve targets with seamless communicationDesired Characteristics
