At Othisis , health-tech startup, we’re building an AI-powered medical scribe that reduces physician burnout by automating clinical documentation, PDF ingestion, and administrative workflows.

We are seeking a motivated Backend Engineer Fellow with MEAN stack experience who wants hands-on exposure to building global SaaS products in healthcare.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs for web and mobile clients

Architect scalable backend solutions with NestJS + MongoDB

Build and connect modern client interfaces using Ionic + Angular

Implement secure, multi-tenant SaaS features with strict data isolation

Deploy and manage containerized micro services (Docker, Kubernetes)

Conduct code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting for reliability

Document APIs, contracts, and architecture for the team

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Computer Science / Engineering (or recent graduate)

Hands-on projects with MEAN stack + Ionic

Familiarity with containerization (Docker / Kubernetes)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Bonus if you have :

Experience with healthcare, SaaS, or AI platforms

Knowledge of SaaS billing / payment systems

Advanced skills in micro services or distributed systems
