Purpose
The SAP IBP Analyst takes responsibility for the implementation, support and delivery of Sales & Operations Planning Solutions .
Context of the role
- The Corporate IT Team is split into Five towers and the supply chain team is part of Global Applications.
- The Supply Chain team comprises of people based in Europe and India, managing the implementation and support of global solutions.
- The Supply Chain team is currently overseeing a multiyear programme, replacing legacy solutions with SAP IBP, including integration with SAP ECC and business intelligence tools.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Primary role would be actively aiding the implementation team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deploymentExplore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research and build POCsSupport configuring solution requirements on the products, understand if any issues, diagnose the root cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify ad shortlist and solution alternativesShould be able to support implementation / Rollout / Support activitiesWorks closely with the business to define and communicate global standards, procedures, and best practices for managing and utilizing planning tools.Brings complex issues to resolution using problem solving techniquesProvides solution-based training to IT & business usersKnowledge / Experience / Skills Needed
2+ years’ experience at least 1 module of SAP IBP (Demand, Response & Supply, S&OP, Inventory)Should have hands-on experience of doing configuration in the IBP systemFamiliarities with Planning Areas configuration including setup of Time Profile, Master Data Types, Attributes, Key Figure Calculations, Planning Operators, Copy Disaggregation operators, versions, scenarios, job scheduling, excel EPM formatting etc.Work experience 1+ years in SAP supply chain systemsShould have basic knowledge on database (MS-SQL)CPI-DS experience, Integration knowledge with ECC, APO & S / 4HANA is an advantageIBP Certification is an added advantageGood communication skills in English, worked in fully integrated environmentLogical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborateWorking Relationships
Reports to IT Manager – Supply Chain SystemsCoordinates work with other IT teams to ensure smooth deployment and management of planning toolsFrequent interaction with the global IT team, including colleagues from the UK, Germany, India, China and more, spanning applications, ERP, Infrastructure & Security
