About the Team
The Network Load Balancing team is responsible for ensuring the high availability, scalability, and reliability of applications and services by distributing incoming network traffic across multiple servers. Their main tasks include designing and implementing load balancing solutions using F5 load balancers. The team configures and maintains load balancers, monitors system performance and health, and manages failover and security measures like SSL / TLS and DDoS protection. They collaborate closely with DevOps, application, and security teams to support deployments and maintain seamless service operation.
Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to design, implement, and manage complex load balancing solutions that ensure high availability and optimal performance of networked applications. The Senior Network Load Balancing Engineer leads the configuration and maintenance of both hardware and software load balancers, troubleshoots advanced network and traffic issues, and optimizes load distribution strategies. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support scalable deployments, enforce security best practices, and continuously enhance system reliability. Additionally, the engineer mentors junior team members and drives automation and process improvements within load balancing operations.
