Job descriptionProven experience as a Playwright Automation Engineer (2+ years) or Software Test Engineer (5+ years) with strong automation expertise. Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium (Java), including framework creation or customization. Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices. Familiarity with version control (Git) and test management tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and innovation. Playwright JavaScript / TypeScript Automated Testing Continuous Integration (CI / CD) Version Control (Git)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Collaborate closely with developers and QA teams to understand application requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation for testing activities.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
- Integrate test automation within CI / CD pipelines to provide faster feedback and improved product quality.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Participate actively in sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies.
- Stay updated on the latest Playwright features, tools, and automation best practices.
