About the Role

As Bolt prepares to launch its mobile app, we are looking for a Risk Analyst to strengthen our fraud risk management capabilities, specifically for new mobile users undergoing onboarding via Persona KYC . This role is essential to ensuring a secure and seamless onboarding experience for our consumers while safeguarding against fraudulent activity.

You will be at the frontline of verifying customer identities, analyzing patterns and trends in verification failures, and proactively identifying potential fraud. When not engaged in KYC verification work, you may also support general customer and phone support tasks, providing cross-functional flexibility within the team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform manual KYC verification for users flagged by Persona, ensuring identity verification is accurate and complete.
• Communicate directly with consumers to gather missing documentation or clarify discrepancies.
• Analyze data trends to detect patterns in manual KYC escalations, and proactively suggest process improvements.
• Make decisions on approve / deny for onboarding based on KYC verification.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with risk, support, and potentially merchant teams as we scale.
• Use a critical lens to differentiate between fraudulent and legitimate user behavior .
• Contribute to reporting flows by passing relevant insights and data to internal stakeholders.
• Provide ad-hoc customer and phone support as needed, especially during low verification volumes.
