FanCode, part of the Dream11 ecosystem, is seeking a visionary Director - International Market Expansion to spearhead our global growth. If you have extensive experience (10-12 years) in leading market entry initiatives for media products, particularly with digital exposure in Asia Pacific or EU, and a deep passion for sports, you'll drive our expansion strategy to reach millions more sports fans worldwide.
Your Role
- Market Research & Feasibility Assessment : Evaluate high-potential market opportunities based on factors such as internet penetration, content trends, economic conditions, competition, and local consumer behavior, cultural preferences, and regulatory environments. You'll work closely with research teams to provide clear, data-driven insights .
- Market Entry Strategy : Explore various market entry approaches such as direct investment, joint ventures, and partnerships. You'll also explore collaborations with local distributors (e.g., telcos, ISPs, device manufacturers, payment providers, etc.) to accelerate market entry .
- Go-to-Market Strategy : Develop and execute tailored go-to-market strategies for new markets, including market positioning, user acquisition, content localization, and partnership development.
- Partnership : Lead relationships with key partners, negotiating terms and structuring deals to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes that align with FanCode's strategic goals and drive growth in target markets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (content, marketing, legal, finance, product & tech) to ensure alignment of market expansion strategies with overall business objectives.
Must-Haves
Minimum 10-12 years experience in leading market entry initiatives / cross-border expansion of media products, preferably in the Asia Pacific or EU region , with some exposure to digital.A true Sports fan , with a strong understanding of industry trends in the Sports industry.Ability to think strategically and execute methodically .
