The Engineer Production (Process) will be responsible for leading and supporting manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth and efficient production operations. This role will involve designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and quality.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, ensuring they are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless production operations.
- Conduct process audits and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent and safe production practices.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving expertise to resolve manufacturing issues and challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance production processes and achieve operational excellence.
- Collaborate with equipment and maintenance teams to ensure production equipment is well-maintained and operating at peak performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and apply relevant knowledge to optimize production processes.
Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing production processes, preferably in the automotive or engineering industry.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and fabrication.Experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools is an advantage.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment.Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational efficiency.Skills Required
