The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Sector Lead – Construction & Building Materials , based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience , with a proven track record of selling to large construction companies, infrastructure firms, and building material manufacturers / distributors . You should have strong relationships in this industry and a deep understanding of the sales, distribution, and procurement decision-making processes in construction and building materials.
What You’ll Do
- Own and drive revenue growth for the Construction & Building Materials vertical.
- Build and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to sector-specific needs.
- Develop and nurture CXO-level relationships across large enterprises and leading distributors.
- Lead consultative sales conversations focused on business impact and solution value , not just product pitching.
- Manage the entire sales cycle – from lead generation and qualification to deal closure and account expansion.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure strong pre- and post-sales engagement.
- Stay on top of industry trends and competitive landscape to refine positioning and drive thought leadership.
- Report sales pipeline metrics and forecasts to senior leadership.
You Are Someone Who
Has 5–8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience , ideally selling into construction, building materials, or related manufacturing / distribution industries.Proven success in enterprise sales, with the ability to close complex, high-value deals.Based in Mumbai (or open to relocation).Strong understanding of industry workflows : channel sales, supply chain, procurement, project management, and distributor engagement.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in selling SaaS solutions to construction or building material companies.Established network of CXOs, sector heads, and decision-makers in construction and building materials.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or related field.
