Job Title : Associate Software Test Engineer – Functional (L1 level, On Contract)

Job Description :

We are looking for a Functional Tester to join our team for a 3-months contract, contributing to an innovative Agentic AI project. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in software testing, particularly in validating AI-driven workflows or automation systems.

Responsibilities :

• Requirement understanding and analysis with identification of ambiguities and gaps in requirement
• Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures
• Prepare test plan, generate test scenario, test cases, and test data associated with functional flow
• Carry out testing as per the defined procedures within tight schedule
• Perform functional testing, smoke testing, integration testing, regression testing and API testing in the assigned environment for AI-based applications
• Validate system behavior, data flow, and decision logic within Agentic AI modules.
• Ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures. Report and track quality defects
• Collaborate with project team members for query and defect resolution
• Must be agile in testing approach and ready to take up new challenges
• Ready to adjust work shift as per the project requirements
• Demonstrate approach towards technical expertise based on requirement of the project
• Prepare comprehensive test reports and maintain test documentation
