Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Ignition SCADA Developer. The Ignition SCADA Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SCADA systems using Ignition by Inductive Automation. Day-to-day tasks include creating and modifying configurations, developing custom screens and modules, integrating with other systems, performing troubleshooting, and providing technical support and training to users.

Qualifications

Experience with SCADA systems, particularly Ignition by Inductive Automation

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python

Knowledge of databases and SQL

Familiarity with Io T, cloud computing, and analytics

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and remotely

Experience in one or more of the following industries is a plus : utilities, manufacturing, food & beverage, data centers, and facility management

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
