In this role, you will be acting as a SME for the domain, responsibleto add value to the output ensuring it is 100% accurate and meets / exceeds client expectations.
Responsibilities
Analyze and test Investor accounting system functionality across legacy system and go-to system.
Understand basic fund accounting concepts.
Conduct product testing and gather user’s feedback to make product improvements and iterate on the product roadmap.
Connect with client stakeholders for query solving.
Contribute Process improvement ideas.
Grasp requirements from the client and apply in the form of formula setup.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in the either of the following disciplines : business, finance, accounting, analytics, engineering, or data management.
Relevant experience intoFinance / Banking / Hedge Fund Admin experience.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel - VLOOKUP’s, pivot, power pivot, formulas, graphs etc.
Self-starter with a good ability to work in a Global team virtually across various locations
Takes ownership and accountability.
Good knowledge of the agile way of working, but also has a pragmatic approach how to combine this in areas where close collaboration and transparency is a must.
Ability to ask the right questions which aids in identifying the core problem.
Results oriented with an ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
Excellent written communication skills. Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to clearly communicate with senior client stakeholders, business process client SMEs (subject matter experts), technology team, product development team.
Excellent interpersonal skills with problem solving logical thinking and analytical abilities
Strong desire to learn about different end to end processes, new technology, rules / regulations, data analytics.
Has the resilience and grit in handling escalations and work under pressure of different stakeholders and management.
Excellent knowledge in process design with a data driven mindset.
Hands-on mentality in a data-driven setting.
Experience in banking with soundunderstanding financial services processes.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
Master / MBA will be preferred.
Expertise in the following tools will be preferred - o MS Excel - VBA macros, VLOOKUP’s, pivot, power pivot, formulas, graphs etc. o MS PowerPoint – preparing client presentation o MS Visio / process mapping tool
Ability to thrive in ambiguity.
Fund accounting Reporting / Reconciliations experience.
Testing experience will be preferred.
Good knowledge of JIRA application.
