About Medical Coding

We're expanding our team of skilled medical coders who will review patient medical records, ensure compliance with privacy standards like PHI and HIPAA, and convert clinical documentation into standardized medical codes as per ICD-10-CM and PCS guidelines.

As a medical coder in this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing inpatient medical records from Saudi Arabian clients and assigning accurate ICD-10-CM (PDx and SDx) and PCS codes for diagnoses and procedures. You'll also apply thorough understanding of medical necessity, DRGs, and APRs to ensure accurate claims processing.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing business requirements is also essential.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Review inpatient medical records from Saudi Arabian clients and assign accurate ICD-10-CM (PDx and SDx) and PCS codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Apply thorough understanding of medical necessity, DRGs, and APRs to ensure accurate claims processing.
• Query physicians for clarification as needed.
• Monitor account statuses and follow up with internal stakeholders.
