Salary Range : ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee all procurement and sourcing activities for our tea manufacturing operations in Siliguri. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of raw material procurement, vendor management, and cost control within the tea or FMCG industry. The role involves ensuring timely supply of quality materials, negotiating effectively with suppliers, and maintaining smooth coordination with production and accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute efficient purchasing strategies for raw tea leaves, packaging items, and factory supplies.
• Source and negotiate with reliable vendors to achieve the best quality and pricing.
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier lists, and pricing data.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production departments.
• Control purchasing budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Liaise with accounts for vendor payments and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory norms.
