SAP Tester - AP / IM Modules

About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SAP Tester specializing in S / 4HANA for Retail with strong expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Inventory Management (IM). The role involves end-to-end functional testing, validation, and ensuring system reliability for procure-to-pay (P2P) flows, GR / IR processes, and retail-specific transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Validate GR / IR reconciliation, invoice postings, and exception handling in AP & Inventory processes.
• Test procure-to-pay (P2P) flows, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, and vendor payments.
• Perform backend validation of SAP tables such as MSEG, BSEG, and MARA to ensure accurate reconciliation and transaction logic.
• Execute and validate test cases for batch jobs, document types, workflows, and pricing configurations.
• Conduct system integration testing for retail-specific flows like DC-to-store deliveries, stock transfers, and site-based rules.
• Perform SQL-based data validation and reconciliation checks for financial and inventory data.
• Track, manage, and document defects using test management tools (JIRA, Rally, HP ALM, etc.).
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure end-to-end testing coverage.
• Ensure timely execution of test cycles with high quality and accuracy.
• Follow best practices in defect reporting, traceability, and regression testing
