Data Analytics Manager - Power BI

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Data Analytics Manager Power BI to lead our analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization, along with experience in managing analytics teams and delivering insights to business stakeholders.

This role requires both technical proficiency and strategic thinking you will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, driving data governance, and ensuring effective reporting and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of data analysts and BI developers to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
• Define and implement the organizations data analytics and visualization strategy.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify key metrics, KPIs, and reporting requirements.
• Promote a data-driven culture, encouraging analytical thinking and evidence-based decision-making.
• Oversee data governance, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data assets.
• Architect and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and visual reports to deliver actionable insights.
• Design and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX.
• Implement efficient data refresh schedules, row-level security (RLS), and user access controls.
• Ensure scalability and performance optimization of dashboards and underlying datasets.
• Work closely with business units to iterate and refine dashboard requirements based on feedback.
• Collaborate with data engineers to define ETL pipelines and integrate data from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, Azure, etc.
• Manage and validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in data modeling, data quality, and metadata management.
• Drive automation of reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams - finance, operations, marketing, and IT - to translate business questions into analytical requirements.
• Provide insights and recommendations through data storytelling and visual analytics.
• Support forecasting, trend analysis, and scenario modeling for strategic planning.
• Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Establish and enforce analytics standards, documentation, and version control.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and predictive analytics using Power BI and Azure services.
• Stay current with emerging BI tools, Power BI updates, and data visualization best practices.
• Continuously assess and improve the performance of data analytics processes.
