Job Summary :

Optimize fleet and vessel performance using data-driven analysis and AI / ML to monitor efficiency, ensure compliance, coordinate with technical teams, and deliver actionable insights for enhanced sustainability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

To generate baseline models for various ship types and onboard them on the platform by capturing data from various vessel manuals.
Develop, maintain, and enhance vessel performance monitoring tools and analytics workflows.
To utilize AI / ML in analyzing Vessel's hull Performance, Machinery performance in monitoring fleet performance.
Implement and refine algorithms for accurate analysis of vessel behavior and efficiency.
Design and build interactive dashboards to clearly communicate key performance indicators.
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and operational anomalies.
To coordinate with the Technical Management Team in analyzing their vessel's performance and anomalies in reporting.
Translate technical insights into clear, practical recommendations to support decision making through monthly Performance reports for both Vessels and Fleets.
Execute ad hoc tasks related to Vessel Performance Management to ensure compliance with emissions regulations.

Key Skills, Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria :

Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.

Minimum 1 year sailing experience as 4th / 3rd Engineer

1-2 years of experience in vessel performance monitoring.

Basic to intermediate skills in Python for developing various codes related to vessel performance management.

Basic to intermediate Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
