Job description

Role Overview

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and business development in the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) domain. This role focuses on mid-size, emerging, and SME clients, leveraging strong financial understanding to structure trade finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire SME, mid-size, and emerging business clients for SCF products.
  • Understand clients’ business, cash flows, and balance sheets to recommend suitable financing solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end sales process including client onboarding, documentation, and deal closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with finance, accounts, and business decision-makers at client organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal Credit, Operations, and Product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and execution.
  • Track sales pipeline, forecast business, and report performance metrics to the management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements in SCF.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Finance, SME / mid-market lending, and trade finance.
  • Ability to analyze balance sheets, financial statements, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Result-oriented with strong sales acumen and ability to meet targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Experience & Education

  • Experience : 3–5 years in Supply Chain Finance or Trade Finance sales, preferably covering SME, mid-size, or emerging businesses.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. MBA preferred but not mandatory.
