A Day in the Life

Diabetes Minimed India- The Sr. IT Developer – SDET will be responsible for development, maintenance of automation framework. The incumbent will be responsible for all phases of functional and regression testing including development and execution of automated scripts. This person should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with other teams to ensure deadlines are met and application quality, performance meets standards before production implementation.

Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

• Experience with REST Assured API, SOAP UI automation testing.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts with web applications.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure the highest quality of software releases. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Define, Identify and implement best practices for test automation processes and tools.
• Analyse and interpret test results, report defects, and ensure issues are resolved.
• Generate detailed test reports and metrics to track testing progress and effectiveness.
• Mentor and train junior team members on test automation practices and framework usage. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
