Job Description
The position is for Farukh Nagar, Haryana. The District coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of a community-based project on community-based intervention for empowering women and girls and improving their health and nutrition in Farrukhnagar. She / he will be based out in the field office in Farrukhnagar and will be reporting to the Programe Manager, Regional Manager, and Deputy Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and provide support to the district-level team in planning, and implementing the project activities
- Implementing community-based intervention on empowering women and girls and improving their health and nutrition.
- Develop reports and case studies for documentation purposes
- Providing management support in preparing work plans, tracking the progress of project activities as per plans through MIS, facilitating budgetary allocations to the implementation team(s), etc.
- Undertake field visits, and evaluate the programmatic activities for mentoring the team at the project intervention locale
- Representing the project at various stakeholder meetings
- Develop meaningful liaison and network with district officials of the department like social welfare, health, civil society partners, and other stakeholders
- Regular interaction and coordination with the field team
- Coordinating and preparing periodic (monthly, quarterly) reports including MIS for project activities
- Establishing coordination between implementation, monitoring, and finance teams and ensuring the timely settlement of accounts
- Managing administrative and HR issues of the implementing team(s) when it is required
