Job Title : Senior Accountant

Job Location : - Angola

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience of handling accounts of manufacturing sector.

Looking for proactive Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate reporting. The role requires strong accounting expertise, sound tax knowledge, and the ability to provide management with timely financial insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

• Accounts & Compliance : Supervise day-to-day accounting, finalize financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet), manage statutory audits, and ensure legal compliance.
• Finance & Treasury : Manage working capital, daily cash flow, fund-raising, banking relationships, and project financing. Ensure optimum utilization of resources and maintain key financial ratios.
• MIS & Reporting : Deliver timely and accurate MIS on cash flow, budgets, stock, debtor / creditor ageing, and competitor pricing. Provide variance analysis with action plans.
• Costing : Oversee production costing process and ensure the cost accuracy
• Taxation : Prepare and file Indirect Tax returns, Income Tax returns, and effectively manage all statutory tax compliances in line with applicable laws.
• Process & Controls : Develop and implement SOPs across departments, strengthen internal controls, and streamline processes for efficiency.
• Commercial & Inventory : Oversee stores and inventory management, ensure ethical and economic use of resources, and support day-to-day commercial activities.
• Business Partnering : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and reports to support management in decision-making.
