GDS Business Enablement – Internal Transformation Services, Assistant Director (Innovation / Design Thinking / Experience design)
The ITS Assistant Director position is a Global role that is focused on delivery of EY's internal transformation projects and initiatives. We collaborate with internal clients to design and deliver virtual and in-person workshops through a process of working together. The role enables successful execution of the organization's priority initiatives through leveraging his / her network, technical competencies, design, and facilitation skills. The Assistant Director will be expected to establish and maintain trusted working relationships within the Executive, with partners and their global teams as part of credibly advising and delivering on design thinking facilitation.

Key Responsibilities
Contributes as an effective team member and takes accountability for deliverablesUnderstand client challenge / s, current state & desired state they want achieveDesign solution / s to achieve desired objectives using the design thinking approachFacilitate small and larger groups to drive outputs and outcomesCo-ordinate session logistics and technologySet up of technology tools such as Mentimeter, slido etc.End-to-end project management of sessions, leveraging experience of project management methodologiesSharing with the client session outputs in various formatsDevelops and manages credentials and other materials for stakeholder engagement purposesDevelops and manages knowledge for use across projects and the EY communitiesSkills And Attributes For Success
Create a safe space for participation and input during facilitated session for all participantsEnhances the facilitation capability within the team and helps to accelerate adoption of facilitated workshopsAbility to manage ambiguity and the political aspects of changeAbility to build and maintain relationships across many different functions and organization levelsExcellent written, oral, presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsLeverage business acumen and understanding of business functions to client objectivesKnowledge and experience of design thinking or applying innovation techniques in organisationsTranslate objectives into a designed facilitated session using design thinking methodologyManagement of Mural / Miro design and creationHave an innovative mindset and look for new ways to improve or enhance ways of workingEncourage self and team to evolve methodology and experiment with new toolsStay current on design trends, methodologies and toolsKnowledge and / or experience of design thinking and applying innovation techniques / initiatives in organizationsExperience of designing, managing and running workshopsAbility to travel as required and conduct multi-time zone meetings outside of local business hours.To qualify for the role, you must have an overall experience of 10+ years
Innovation / Design Thinking / Experience design relevant experience of 4 + years
Professional services / consulting experience across strategy, innovation, change management, service design, customer experience, technology, supply chain, finance, or other business advisory specialismStrong MS Office skills. Experience of working with facilitation tools such as Mural, Miro, Mentimeter, etcGood analytical and critical thinking skillsAbility to establish and maintain credibility and excellent client relationshipsDemonstrable Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and sensitivity to stakeholders needsGood judgment, tact, and decision-making abilityFlexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid changeAbility to work and team with a multitude of different people and different cultures.What We Offer
