Roles and Responsibilities :
- Providing technical support for SAP systems run on AWS
- Responding to customer tickets in a timely manner, owning basis issues to resolution
- Proactively identifying the root cause of issues and recommending and implementing solutions
- On projects supporting the build and migration of SAP systems on AWS
- Liaising with infrastructure, security and other team members to support a customer s requirements
- Providing out of hours support cover when scheduled to the support rota
- Deploying tooling to support the automation of basis and infrastructure activities
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years SAP basis experience across multiple SAP componentsExperience with SAP Basis and NetWeaver Administration.Hands on experience in supporting customer SAP systems and / or implementing and / or migrating SAP systems preferably to AWSExperience in SAP Installation, SAP Sizing, SAP Backup and Recovery, SAP Basis Monitoring, SAP Patch Management, Router Configuration, SAP Kernal AdministrationExperience in working in multiple customer environments each directly for the customer or as a 3rd party providerExcellent English language written and oral communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a global teamSelected applicant will be subject to a background investigation, which will be conducted and the results of which will be used in compliance with applicable law.Skills Required
