Hiring on Behalf of a Multinational European ClientPosition : Assistant Manager – Costing & Inventory Control (Hybrid Role)
Location : Pune (2 days / week in office + remote working)
We are assisting our esteemed multinational European client—an industry leader in FTTH telecom component manufacturing—in identifying a highly skilled Assistant Manager – Costing & Inventory Control to join their expanding finance team in India.
The ideal candidate will bring strong costing expertise, hands-on inventory management experience, and robust ERP knowledge to support a fast-growing organisation with global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely reconciliations for management reporting and audits.
- Implement and manage inventory valuation methods (FIFO, Weighted Average, etc.).
- Track aged inventory and provide proactive recommendations to reduce obsolescence.
- Manage standard costing, overhead analysis, and production variance reporting.
- Support tender costing, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and engineering teams on cost and inventory strategy.
- Lead ERP-driven process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Support management accounts preparation and external audit requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance.CIMA qualification (mandatory).7+ years of experience in costing and inventory management, ideally in a manufacturing setup.Strong exposure to ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.Excellent analytical and communication abilities.Key Competencies

Annual CTC : ₹12–15 lakhs (based on experience and suitability)
