Key Responsibilities :

• Drug Design & Development :
• Research and synthesize new drug compounds.
• Optimize chemical structures to enhance drug efficacy and reduce side effects.
• Work with computational models and molecular biology tools.
• Analytical Chemistry :
• Conduct purity and stability testing of drug substances.
• Use instruments like HPLC, GC, NMR, and MS for analysis.
• Perform validation and quality control of chemical compounds.
• Formulation Development :
• Develop methods for drug delivery (e.g., tablets, capsules, injections).
• Ensure drugs remain stable and effective under different conditions.
• Regulatory Compliance :
• Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions (FDA, EMA, etc.).
• Ensure lab practices comply with GMP, GLP, and safety standards.
• Collaboration & Reporting :
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (biologists, pharmacists, engineers).
• Document and present research findings in reports and scientific journals.
