Staff Software Development Engineer

The Role :

As a Staff Engineer in Razorpay's Developer Productivity team, you will build platforms that enhance developer experience and productivity across the company by standardizing engineering workflows and leveraging AI capabilities. This role demands deep-expertise with strong opinions on how we should ship. You should be able to see nuances and elements that others might not. The ideal candidate should be able to drive org-wide change through execution and influence. As part of the senior engineering group you will be influencing the culture of the company and help it shape in the right way

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Architect and scale world-class developer platforms that help us build and ship faster
• Define and evangelize engineering best practices through systems that enforce standardization, reduce friction and improve developer experience
• Accelerate execution not just for engineering but also product managers and designers by integrating AI-driven tooling into our day to day workflows.
• Lead and collaborate with senior engineers and leadership across teams to define and execute the org-wide technical strategy.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical growth and leadership development.
• Represent Razorpay in developer-first forums and events, driving thought leadership and industry engagement.
