We are now scaling our platform to serve millions of users with next-gen AI capabilities — and we’re looking for an Engineering Lead to drive this mission.

Role Overview

As the Engineering Lead , you will own the end-to-end technical leadership of Amealio’s AI-driven platform. You’ll guide a growing team of engineers, architect scalable solutions on the MERN stack with Next.js , and ensure smooth deployment and optimization on AWS cloud infrastructure . You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and AI / ML teams to bring cutting-edge features to life while keeping performance, scalability, and reliability at the core.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Architecture
• Lead design and implementation of scalable, high-performance applications using MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React / Next.js, Node.js).
• Architect solutions to handle millions of concurrent users, integrating AI-driven features seamlessly.
• Define coding standards, best practices, and ensure high-quality code reviews.
• AI & Platform Scaling
• Work with AI engineers to productionize ML models within the platform.
• Optimize APIs and microservices for speed, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Scale Next.js applications with server-side rendering (SSR) and edge deployments.
• Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
• Oversee deployment, monitoring, and scaling on AWS (ECS / EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.).
• Implement CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Drive observability and reliability practices (logging, monitoring, alerts).
• Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Lead and mentor engineers; build a strong technical culture.
• Work closely with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical direction on feature prioritization, scalability trade-offs, and long-term roadmap.
