Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Planning Manager to lead and oversee the planning and scheduling of large-scale hospitality construction projects in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of project planning methodologies, hospitality sector standards, and a proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop detailed project schedules (WBS, timelines, milestones) using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders (design, procurement, construction) to ensure timely planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management through dashboards and reports.
  • Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and identify potential delays with mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with cost control teams to align schedules with budget forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with hospitality brand standards, building codes, and client requirements.
  • Manage planning teams and mentor junior planners across multiple projects.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and vendors to track deliverables and resolve planning issues.
  • Participate in client meetings, reviews, and approvals related to planning functions.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master s preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in project planning within the construction industry , with a minimum of 5 years in hospitality projects (hotels, resorts, luxury developments, etc.).
  • Strong command of Primavera P6 , MS Project, and project control tools.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and local regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.

    • Preferred Experience :

  • Projects involving 4-star or 5-star hotels, resorts, or high-end hospitality spaces.
  • Working with reputed hospitality brands or real estate developers in India.
  • Experience managing planning on both EPC and turnkey projects.
