Senior Manager - Search Engine Optimization
Job Description :
This is a client-facing, hands-on SEO leadership role .
You won't just be running audits and making to-do lists - you'll be owning outcomes.
That means :
- Designing and executing SEO strategies for D2C and marketplace clients
- Managing technical SEO , AI-driven SEO , and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to help clients show up - not just on Google, but on next-gen search platforms
- Working across Shopify, Magento, WordPress , and marketplace listings (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
- Using real data to make smart decisions, measure results, and iterate fast
You ll work closely with our internal Product, Content, and Tech teams - but your focus is clear : help clients rank higher, get discovered faster, and drive more sales through organic search.
What You ll Do
Build and lead SEO roadmaps for D2C and marketplace clientsRun deep technical SEO audits and drive fixes across crawlability, speed, mobile, structured data, and indexingOwn on-page SEO : metadata, content structure, internal linking, keyword targeting, and CRO recommendationsOptimize eCommerce listings and landing pages for marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) using tools like Helium10Identify and execute AI SEO tactics, including content optimization for generative search engines (SGE, ChatGPT, Bing Chat)Monitor performance and surface insights using GA4, GSC, Adobe Analytics, and Looker StudioLead monthly strategy calls and performance reviews with clientsWork with devs and content teams to execute changes, test improvements, and track impactStay sharp on every algo update, trend, and opportunity - then turn that knowledge into actionWhat You Bring
5+ years of hands-on SEO experience , with strong exposure to D2C eCommerce and marketplacesDeep knowledge of technical SEO - if there s a crawl issue or indexing problem, you can diagnose and fix it fastSeamlessly working across Shopify, Magento, and WordPress.Bonus : you ve handled SEO during migrations or major redesigns
