- Provide strategic academic direction for the Management Department aligned with the affiliating university’s curriculum framework.
- Ensure effective academic planning, time-tabling, and high-quality delivery of prescribed courses.
- Oversee exam preparedness, academic audits, internal assessments, and university compliance.
2. Faculty Development & Mentorship
Lead a team of faculty members by fostering a collaborative, high-performing academic culture.Conduct regular mentoring, training, and performance reviews to promote teaching excellence.Encourage faculty involvement in skill-based trainings, certifications, and student mentoring initiatives.3. Industry Integration & Skill Ecosystem
Build and strengthen partnerships with corporates and industry bodies to align the department with market needs.Design and promote value-added programs , skill certifications , and industry lectures to enhance student employability.Champion initiatives that bridge classroom learning with real-world management practice.4. Quality Assurance & Accreditation
Drive NAAC, NBA, and other accreditation processes with a focus on documentation, qualitative improvement, and institutional preparedness.Lead implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) , AICTE / UGC guidelines , and continuous improvement mechanisms.Coordinate with IQAC and central administrative units for quality benchmarks and compliance.5. Student Development & Academic Culture
Foster a student-centric environment that emphasizes discipline, ethics, and career readiness.Promote student participation in co-curricular activities, management events, fests, and competitions.Address academic grievances, support placements, and guide students in internships and project-based learning.6. Institutional Strategy & Administration
Contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the institute through vision-setting, policy implementation, and innovation.Represent the department in Governing Council meetings, policy discussions, and strategic collaborations.Manage budgeting, resource allocation, recruitment, and day-to-day operations of the Management Department.
