Drainage Design, Surface Drainage, SuDS, Urban Drainage, micro-Drainage, Info Drainage

Responsibilities

Production of detailed draiange designs and construction drawings for various UK projects including residential, industrial, commercial, transport, water, retail, health and education projects.

Mandatory Skills

• Good command of written and verbal English
• Significant experience in road / highway drainage design for infrastructure projects including Surface and foul water , hydraulic modelling, hydrological analysis and the preparation of technical approval designs and drawings
• Ability to design and model drainage networks (2d / 3d) including SuDS features
• Fully conversant with software like Micro Drainage / InfoDrainage / Sewer GEMS / Sewer CAD, Civil 3d etc
• UK / international project experience essential in particular in the application of standards similar to DMRB, Sewers for adoption / DCG etc and developing designs and drawings in compliant with Section S38 / S278 / S104 applications
• Problem solving and originality.
• Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind are essential requirements for the role.
• High degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision.
• Ability to check work to ensure quality deliverables.
• A proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel is also expected.
