Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor cum Videographer located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role involves managing end-to-end video production processes, including operating cameras, setting up lighting, and capturing high-quality video footage. You will also be responsible for editing video content, ensuring it aligns with the organization's objectives, and delivering polished, engaging visuals for various platforms.

• Video Editing & Post-Production

Perform the full spectrum of editing tasks including splicing, sound balancing, audio syncing, and advanced color correction / grading.

Edit raw footage into cohesive, engaging stories aligned with organizational messaging, especially for CSR, impact storytelling, and campaign-based content.

Ensure narrative alignment by reviewing scripts, briefs, and raw footage before finalizing cuts.

Apply creative transitions, title cards, text overlays, and branding elements to enhance clarity and viewer engagement.

Optimize video content for multiple platforms (social media, web, presentations, etc.) ensuring quality and compatibility.

Design and integrate motion graphics and 2D animations for explainer videos, training modules, and digital content.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop animated sequences that communicate complex ideas simply and visually.

Apply VFX and visual enhancements that add polish and professional quality to final deliverables.

Plan and execute video shoots including interviews, field stories, corporate events, and social campaigns.

Ensure professional setup of lighting, audio, and framing to meet production standards.

Direct subjects and crew (as needed) to ensure effective storytelling and comfort during shoots.

Capture high-quality photographs during shoots and events for use across media channels.

Edit and retouch photographs to ensure they align with brand aesthetics and usage guidelines.

Operate, maintain, and manage all video / photo equipment including cameras, drones, lights, mics, and tripods.

Regularly inspect and troubleshoot equipment to ensure readiness for both scheduled and ad-hoc shoots.

Create and manage project timelines, from pre-production planning to final delivery.

Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality output.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align on deliverables, feedback loops, and approvals.

Collaborate closely with content, marketing, and design teams to conceptualize and produce multimedia content.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to improve content quality and engagement.
