About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead partner engagement and regional growth across Maharashtra and Gujarat. In this role, you will manage key recruitment agency accounts, expand our partner ecosystem, and drive enrolment-focused revenue through strong relationship-building, product enablement, and on-ground activation.
You will play a critical role in strengthening GEA’s regional footprint by onboarding new agency partners, improving partner productivity, and ensuring our partners are well-equipped to promote and convert students across global study destinations.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Revenue Growth
Manage, retain, and grow strategic partner accounts across Maharashtra and Gujarat.
Drive revenue and enrolment targets through structured partner engagement.
Support partners with program knowledge, pricing updates, and conversion strategies.
Partner Onboarding & Activation
Identify, onboard, and activate new study-abroad agency partners to expand the regional channel network.
Conduct product demos, onboarding sessions, and training workshops for partner teams.
Ensure newly onboarded partners are fully supported and active within defined timelines.
Performance Monitoring & Market Intelligence
Track partner performance against KPIs and share periodic insights with management.
Recommend region-specific strategies to maximize enrolments and partner productivity.
Territory Expansion & Relationship Management
Develop territory plans to increase applications’ flow, conversions, and regional market penetration.
Build strong relationships with agency owners, counsellors, and decision-makers.
Represent GEA at partner meet-ups, regional events, student fairs, and industry workshops.
Internal Collaboration
Coordinate closely with internal operations, admissions, product, and marketing teams.
Provide partner feedback to improve service delivery, turnaround time, and partner experience.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in EdTech, B2B sales.
Proven experience in agency partner onboarding and account management in Maharashtra & Gujarat.
Knowledge of key study abroad destinations, is a plus
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage high-volume partner portfolios and revenue-focused conversations.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
