Job Description
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing sales processes, managing Zoho CRM and other sales tools, and conducting data analysis for forecasting and reporting. The role involves collaborating with the sales leadership, marketing, and other departments to align sales strategies with business goals and ensure smooth sales operations—ultimately driving efficiency and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Management
Serve as the primary system administrator / manager for sales-related modules within Zoho CRM.Manage user accounts, run reports and dashboards, and ensure data accuracy and integrity of leads, opportunities, and sales data in the CRM.Sales Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze key performance indicators such as pipeline growth, order wins, new account acquisition, and sales progress toward budgets / plans.Provide actionable insights and recommendations to sales leadership based on data analysis.Develop and manage sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas.Forecasting and Planning
Collaborate with regional, brand, and industry leaders on sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting.Use historical data and market trends to assess future sales performance and guide decision-making.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Inside Sales, Marketing, and other support functions to align the lead qualification process.Ensure incoming leads are tracked, converted to opportunities, and moved toward closure effectively.Partner Sales Forecast Reporting
Coordinate with internal sales teams to ensure timely presentation, discussion, and submission of weekly and quarterly sales forecasts to business partner teams.Partner Order and Operations Management
Collaborate with business partner sales and operations teams for timely pricing approvals, pipeline and order management, and account creation.Stay informed on sales promotions and incentive programs to enable the internal sales team to improve revenue realization and performance.Requirements
Must Have
5–10 years of prior experience in Sales Operations or a similar role within a B2B, SaaS, or software reseller organization (experience within the DS ecosystem preferred).Strong analytical skills to interpret and visualize sales data effectively.Expertise in CRM software and sales analytics tools, ideally Zoho CRM (experience with other CRMs is also acceptable).Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks and meet deadlines effectively.Strong communication and collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.Experience in sales forecasting and budgeting.Nice to Have / Preferred Skills
Knowledge of optimizing and automating sales processes.Experience with financial modeling and revenue forecasting.Proficiency in quickly adopting new sales tools and technologies.Competence in analyzing revenue and financial data.Benefits / Impact of the Role
